Duration: Approx. 90 minutes | Price: ¥8,800 per person (tax included)

Experience ① Marukoro® Nerikiri Making
Nerikiri is a traditional Japanese confection made from white bean paste, expressing the beauty of Japan’s seasons and nature through delicate colors and shapes. At Re:Route CAFE JIYUGAOKA, you will create two seasonal nerikiri pieces with step-by-step guidance from a certified nerikiri instructor. Beginners are always welcome, and each step is explained carefully. After making your nerikiri, enjoy them together with Japanese tea. It is a special experience where you can make, taste, and discover Japanese tea culture in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo.
Experience ② Hojicha Roasting Experience
Experience the moment when tea leaves transform into aromatic hojicha. At Re:Route CAFE JIYUGAOKA, you will roast Japanese tea leaves yourself using a traditional roasting tool. The aroma and flavor change depending on the roasting time and heat. From a light roast with a refreshing taste to a deeper roast with a rich aroma, you can create your own hojicha and discover how roasting changes the character of Japanese tea.
Experience ③ Japanese Tea Tasting

Discover the different flavors of Japanese tea through tasting. You will compare Japanese teas and experience how aroma, sweetness, bitterness, and umami change depending on the tea and how it is prepared. Taste carefully, notice the differences, and discover the depth of Japanese tea with your own senses.
